(l) Cows selected for cattle breeding with bezoar are not limited to breeds and males and females, and cattle that have lost the ability to breed or use can also be used. In order to make high yield and quality of bezoar, it is best to use strong cattle from 4 to 10 years old. 12 hours before surgery, feeding and drinking should be prohibited and the pulse, breathing, and activity of the cattle should be checked. If there is a disease or pregnancy, surgery should not be performed.
(2) The gallbladder site is the gallbladder site of the right lower edge of the liver. That is, draw a straight line from the bull's shoulder 1/3 until it meets the penultimate 2nd and 3rd ribs. Between the 10th and 11th ribs, the bull was gallbladder between the 9th and 10th ribs.
(3) Skin disinfection Shave the surgical parts of the cow's hair first, then wash it with soapy water or susu and wipe it dry. Then wipe it twice with 5% iodine, then de-iodine disinfection with 70% alcohol, and dry the lid. Apply compresses and cover with a clean plastic cloth.
(4) Surgical methods Bundle the bovine limbs and lie down on the left side. Cut the skin and muscle 8-12 cm along the intercostal path between the two ribs in the surgical site. Then, as the muscle fibers move to separate the muscle layers, when the peritoneum is lifted with tweezers and the 3 cm hole is cut, the gallbladder is exposed. At this time, extend the index finger into the abdominal cavity, gently pull out the gallbladder along the edge of the liver, and spot the small blood vessels at the upper part of the gallbladder wall to cut about 2 cm long, let the bile flow out - about half, and then the size is appropriate. A sterile foreign body nucleus (a pumice stone or egg-sized plastic product wrapped with kasugam cloth) is placed and a syringe is used to inject 2 ml of E. coli into the pouch, and then the gallbladder is sutured with a gastrointestinal suture method and used. 1% of benzalkonium disinfectant was washed, and then the gallbladder was moved back into the abdominal cavity. The peritoneum and muscles were then sutured with continuous sutures, and the skin was closed with a gap nodule method. Finally, the skin was washed with blood stains to complete the operation. - The general operation time is about 25 - 30 minutes.
(5) After surgical care, cows should be removed 7 to 10 days after the operation to prevent wound infection. Within half a month, feed some high-protein feeds and fresh leaves, potato shoots, etc. in order to facilitate wound healing and restore constitution.
(6) Take yellow method
-Generally yellow after surgery. When it is yellow, open the gallbladder and find the foreign body that has been inserted. The adhesion of foreign materials - a thick yellow layer is bezoar. At the same time as taking yellow, the foreign matter core prepared in advance can be placed for the second time to continue cultivation of bezoar. - General - Strong cows can be cultivated 2 - 3 times. The removed bezoar absorbs water with absorbent paper, removes the surface of mucus, blood, bile, and dirt, and then is dried or air-dried. After drying, the yellow material on the outer surface of the core is scraped off, which is the finished product of bezoar, which can be bottled and sealed for storage or medicine.
