The application of ring groove rivets in vibration machinery - never loose! How to do this? The ring groove rivet is also called a Huck nail, and the rivet is composed of a nail rod and a nail sleeve. A set of ring groove rivets consists of a shank and a collar that provides high strength clamping and shock resistance. Can replace the conventional high-strength bolts, the ring groove rivet is also called the Huck nail, and the rivet is composed of the nail rod and the nail sleeve. A set of ring groove rivets consists of a shank and a collar that provides high strength clamping and shock resistance. Can replace the conventional bolt and nut. Ring groove rivets are used in a wide range of applications: container, passenger car, construction, aerospace.
Although the ring groove rivet is a blind rivet, it is not a blind rivet because it is installed on both sides of the plate surface. They offer higher shear strength, tensile strength, clamp loading and vibration resistance than most other products in blind rivets. Made of aluminum, steel and stainless steel, diameters range from 3/16" to 3/8".
The ring groove rivet is different from the traditional nut bolt by the torsion rotation. The ring groove rivet uses the principle of Hooke's law to pull the bolt and push the collar under the action of the one-way tension force. Squeezing the smooth collar into the groove of the screw creates a 100% bond between the collar and the bolt, creating a permanent fastening force. This complete riveting process typically takes only 5-8 seconds.
The following sequence is required to rive the ring groove rivet with the Hacker rivet gun. The following illustration also briefly describes its working principle; (1), the Huck bolt is inserted into the connection hole, and the collar is sleeved on the ring groove bolt (2) The Huck gun head is placed at the end of the bolt, the switch of the Huck gun is pressed, the tool is started, the head of the gun grips the tail of the bolt, and the head pushes the collar until any gap is removed (3). The ring is molded on the annular groove of the bolt until the collar is elongated and clamped on the bolt (4), and the groove is clamped on the bolt to complete the design clamping force. The tail is separated from the bolt and the whole process is completed.
Using the principle of Hooke's law, the ring of the ring groove rivet and the bolt are riveted to produce a 100% joint force, so that after the riveting is completed, a high fastening force is formed and never loosened. Ring groove rivet riveting is often used to replace welding.
