Soil water enters the atmosphere through two pathways of transpiration and evaporation. The soil water in the surface layer will be leaked downward by gravity. When the surface has enough water to replenish, the soil water can always penetrate into the groundwater level, and then it may enter the surface waters of rivers, rivers, lakes and seas. Soil water exists in the pores of the soil, especially in small and medium pores. The large pores are often occupied by air. The roots of plants interspersed in the pores of the soil absorb water from the pores of the aqueous soil for transpiration. There is a humidity gradient at the water-air interface in the soil, the temperature rises, and the gradient increases, so the water will become vaporized and evaporate and escape the soil surface. The soil moisture rapid tester is an effective instrument for determining soil moisture content, and the measurement results are accurate and reliable.

According to some classification methods in the past, the morphology is mainly classified according to the stress of soil water. These forces mainly include adsorption force, sorption, capillary force and gravity. When discussing the shape of soil water, it is actually based on these forces to distinguish which part of the water is under what force. Although this classification method is theoretically not sufficiently rigorous, for example, soil water is classified by shape into a form of water called gravity water. But in terms of soil water, it is not part of it but all of it is affected by the gravity field, so it is actually gravity water. Nevertheless, it is still considered that the classification of soil water is a qualitative classification of soil water, which plays an important role in soil formation, so that people can more deeply rely on this morphological classification to evaluate the ecological conditions of soil moisture. Therefore, the research on the morphology of soil water is still of scientific value. As one of the factors of crop growth, soil moisture plays a vital role in the physiological activities of crops. In the future, soil moisture research will be further improved and developed in the basic theory.

The results of the soil moisture rapid tester found that with the development of science and technology, there are more and more methods for measuring soil moisture, and there are differences in application principles, methods of use and measurement results. Each method has its scope of application, so when choosing a measurement method, it must be targeted, considering its practicality and economics. The drying method is the most traditional method and the most commonly used method, but the drying method can only determine the soil water content. The soil bulk density must be known before the volumetric water content or soil water storage capacity can be obtained, and because the soil sample cannot be used. The position is restored, so it is difficult to monitor the dynamic changes of soil moisture.
