Japanese researchers recently published a study in the British "Science Report" magazine, due to genetic factors, people who drink easily blush are more likely to have hip fractures.

The researchers said that after taking alcohol, people will produce acetaldehyde during metabolism. In the process of decomposing acetaldehyde, the body needs acetaldehyde dehydrogenase 2 to function. But people who drink blush are genetically deficient in this enzyme. The lack of this enzyme makes acetaldehyde easy to accumulate in the body, which in turn affects the function of osteoblasts that produce bone.

By comparing the genetics of 92 hip fracture patients with 48 normal people, researchers at Keio University in Japan found that the risk of hip fracture in people who drink blushing is 2.48 times higher than that of normal people. (Reporter Huayi)
