From 3 weeks of age, piglets cannot meet their nutritional needs; 4-week-old piglets can only obtain 37% nutrition from breast milk. Therefore, measures are taken when breast milk still satisfies the nutritional needs of the piglets.
Feed should be eaten as soon as possible to promote rapid growth. The feeding method is free-feeding, and the way of feeding is to eat more food and less, so that it is not wasteful to eat, eat while eating, and eat full. The weight of weaned piglets should generally be more than 8 kg, and feed intake should be accumulated during the lactation period. The accumulated feed intake per head should be no less than 2 kg. The milking time is 2 to 3 days. The person with the heaviest weight is the first to be weaned. The temperature of the environment is kept at 27~30°C, and the piglets are reared on a weight basis. For every 4 to 5 piglets, there is a feeding trough, and for every 20 to 25 piglets a drinking fountain is provided.
