Recently, in a research paper published in the international magazine PLoS One , researchers from Durham University in the United Kingdom have shown that a bacteria named Pseudomonas aeruginosa living in water and soil can be a kind of bacteria. Special ways of communicating with each other may be very similar to the unique way of communication between humans and certain primates.

Bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa) can use a combination of communication methods, usually with two signals to complete the communication, the effect produced by the two signals is not the same as the sum of the effects produced by the two signals; of course, this is in human language. Researchers say that Pseudomonas aeruginosa can use chemical signaling molecules to communicate with each other as "words of communication" to produce the necessary proteins to sustain bacterial survival; the researchers found that when blocking one of the signals, then By blocking another signal molecule, the effect of the bacterial protein is different from the protein effect produced by the superposition of the two signals.

Researcher Dr. Scott-Phillips said that our series of experiments on the communication between bacteria found that bacteria can communicate with each other through a special chemical signal molecule to complete the process of their lives, which we know The unique way of communication between human beings is the same principle (humans use words to communicate).
